Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through https://homeinsulation.com.au/ (the “Site”) are delivered by Home Insulation (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy applies to the delivery of products only; for information regarding installation and site visit bookings, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Delivery methods

We offer the following options at checkout:

• Self-delivery — we deliver orders ourselves rather than using a third-party courier.
• Click and collect — you can choose to collect your order in person from 2/83 Tucker St, Breakwater VIC 3219

2. Delivery area

We currently deliver to Geelong, Melbourne and Victoria only

If your delivery address falls outside our delivery area, you will be notified at checkout that delivery is not available. You may still be eligible to select Click & Collect as an alternative.

3. Delivery timeframes

• Estimated delivery timeframes are shown at checkout and are typically 2–5 business days from order confirmation.
• These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, such as weather, high order volumes, or incorrect address details.
• We will contact you if we expect a significant delay to your order.

4. Delivery costs

• Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery zone.
• Click and collect is at no cost

5. Delivery attempts

• Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order, unless alternative delivery instructions have been provided at checkout authorizing delivery without a recipient present. If leaving the delivery unattended, we recommend selecting a safe, dry location to help preserve the condition of the insulation.
• If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because no one is available to receive the item and it cannot be left safely, we will contact you to arrange a suitable redelivery time. Please note that additional redelivery attempts may incur an extra charge.
• If we are unable to complete delivery after two attempts, we may cancel the order and issue a refund, less any delivery costs already incurred.

6. Incorrect delivery details

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We are not liable for delivery delays or failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by you. If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@homeinsulationstore.com.au. We will do our best to update the details prior to dispatch; however, we cannot guarantee changes once an order is out for delivery.

7. Click and collect

8. Risk and ownership

Risk in the products passes to you once your order has been delivered to the address provided, or once collected under Click and Collect. Ownership of the products passes to you once payment has been received in full.

9. Damaged or missing deliveries

If your order arrives damaged, or you believe it has gone missing in transit, please contact us at info@homeinsulationstore.com.au within 5 business days of the expected delivery date, and we will investigate and resolve the issue in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Delivery Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
