Bradford R3.5 Ceiling Batts

Bradford R3.5 ceiling insulation batts help reduce heat transfer through the ceiling. Choose the pack width and quantity that suit your framing, available space and project requirements.

Two pack sizes suit common ceiling framing:
– 16 batts at 430mm wide
– 10 batts at 580mm wide.
(Both are cut to 1160mm lengths for easy handling in the roof space.)

Choosing a width

  • Measure the space between your ceiling joists, 430mm batts for standard joist centres and 580mm for wider spacing. The batts should fit snugly with no gaps.
  • If you’re working from building plans, you will see either 450mm centres, 600mm centres, or 900mm centres.
    * 450mm centres = 430mm batts
    * 600mm centres = 580mm batts
