Earthwool® R2.0 HD Wall Insulation Batts

Earthwool R2.0 HD wall batts are a cost-effective way to make timber and steel-framed walls warmer in winter, cooler in summer and quieter all year. The “HD” means high density, so the batts hold their shape in the wall cavity and don’t slump over time.

Where to use it

Internal and external wall frames in new builds, extensions and renovations. For ceilings, use ceiling batts instead, because ceiling products aren’t designed for walls.

Installation tips

• Follow the Knauf installation instructions for wall batts. Earthwool® Wall Installation Guide
• Cut batts slightly oversize so they friction-fit between studs.
• Fill the cavity fully, and don’t compress the batts.
• Wear gloves, long sleeves and a dust mask when cutting.
• Check the pack and the NCC requirements for your climate zone.
