Installation tips

- Cut batts slightly oversize so they friction-fit between studs.
- Fill the cavity fully, and don’t compress the batts.
- Seal gaps around power points and services, since noise travels through them.
- Wear gloves, long sleeves and a dust mask when cutting.
- Check the NCC requirements for your climate zone.

Will it soundproof a room? No. It reduces noise transfer, but results also depend on plasterboard, framing and sealing.
